My story started at a local television station in Philadelphia. Finding news stories on the streets of the city set me on a lifelong path of journalism. My journey led me to New York, South Carolina, Indiana and back to New York, where I have spent more than two decades producing news and political programming as the co-Executive Producer of "Hardball with Chris Matthews" on MSNBC. But my first love is telling stories, from the young people who sought community in the rave subculture of the early 1990s to the rickety Ford Taurus that served every member of a single extended family.
